Gentle yoga is great people who want to try yoga or for those who are looking for a softer approach to their practice. This class uses gentle yoga poses combined with breath-work and restorative postures to strengthen and stretch the body, reduce stress and calm the mind. Everybody is welcome to practice in this supportive environment.

Private Yoga

Private yoga sessions are a great option for students who:

  • want to experience yoga, but aren't comfortable with full-class settings.
  • are new to yoga and want one-on-one, personalized instruction based on their specific needs and abilities. Private sessions will help students gain confidence in attending group classes and learn about asana (poses), pranayama (breath work) and meditation in their own time.
  • have a basic understanding of yoga, but are looking for more in-depth experience of establishing a practice in both solitary and group settings. Private sessions can offer students the opportunity to gain a better understanding of particular poses, breathing techniques, or styles and benefits of meditation based on their own personal needs by having an open, relaxed dialogue in a more casual setting.
  • have a desire to learn more about stress management techniques, balancing strong emotions, and nurture a deeper connection to one's self.
  • Sessions are $100 per hour. Packages are available.
